יש לנו כמה גינות ציבוריות ליד הבית והאדון מר גבס פיתח חיבה לשני מנהגים עירוניים פרופר: הוא נהנה לצייר על המדרכה עם גיר והוא חולה בטירוף על ברזים וממטרות - שפתוחים שמשך היום למשחקי מים. הוא הילד הכי קטן בחבורה, אבל אין עליו פחד על הילד הזה והוא נכנס למבול כמו נינג'ה. שתי תמונות להמחשה מצורפות. התמונה של גבי עם הדלי נורא נוגעת ללב לדעתי. גבס נראה נורא מחושב, נגה ואפילו וקצת בלוזי ואכזיסטנציאלי - מה שהברזילאים אוהבים לקרוא סאודג'י.

We have a few public playgrounds near us and Mr. Man has developed a liking of two perfectly urban passtimes. He loves to draw on the sidewalk and he LOVES sprinklers. He's typically the smallest in the bunch, but he has no fear and just marches in there like a Ninja. A few pics to illustrate. The picture of Gabs with a bucket is really touching in my opinion. He looks so thoughtfull and even a little existential. What the Brazilians like calling Saudaji. .

What a Weekend

Mr. Man had a busy weekend. On Saturday we went to the zoo with Brian, Karen and Adam. And on Sunday we visited the Children's Museum of Manhattan with Cris, Rodrigo, and Renata. לה קומפקט מינימל ציינה ששכחתי בפוסט האחרון לכתוב שגם שקיות הזבל וגם מפות השולחן שאנחנו משתמשים בהם הם ירוקים למהדרין.

La Compact Minimal noted that with regards to the previous post on diaper bags and placemats - which are only used when out of the house - that both products mentioned are biodegradable.

I've got to recommend two products that minimal compact and I have been using recently. The first is disposable and biodegradable placemats that are really helpful when eating out. The second are disposable and biodegradable diaper bags. Just two little tips for a Wednesday morning.

גבס הולך למוזיאון Museum Man

גבי מרחיב אופקים, וביקר לאחרונה בשני מוזאונים. לפני שבועיים אמילי וגבי ליוו אותי בנסיעת עבודה לבוסטון וגבי פקד את מוזיאון הילדים שם. ובסוף השבוע שעבר לקחנו את גבי לאקווריום והעולל ליטף כריש סטינג ריי וניסה לתקשר עם כלבי הים... הדיאלוג נותר חד צדדי.

Gabi's been active on the museum scene. Two weeks ago, Gabs and LaCompact came with me on a business trip to Boston, and visited the children's museum. And last wknd we took Ninja Boy to the acqurium, where he pet a sting ray and tried communicating with seals. It was a one sided conversation
