קונצפטואלית, אני מאוד אוהב את חיתולי הג'י. ברם, הם פשוט לא עובדים. באתר של החברה ובכל מיני בלוגים יש הרבה הורים כמוני שמתלוננים על נזילות מהחיתול, ובאופן תמוהה החברה מתעקשת לומר שהחיתול עובד ושכל נזילה היא תוצאה של התקנה רופפת של הספוגית המתכלה - כלומר אשמתי כמשתמש. כינים, הספוגית פשוט לא מתאימה להתקן שלה. אני בכיף מוכן להקדיש דקה או שתיים לאפס את הספוגית עם ההתקן, אבל השניים פשוט בני מידות שונות - ולא נועדו זו לזה. חבל להילחם.
החיתולים של הדור השביעי עובדים כמו כל חיתול אחר...ועובדים, שזה כבר מעניק להם יתרון מעניין. הבעיה פה היא שכושר הספיגה של החיתולים קצת פחות משכנע מזה של האגיס ופמפרס - אבל הם ידידותיים לסביבה ואין עליהם שום לוגו מסחרי. עם ציון של שמונים, הם החיתול המועדף

Conceptually speaking, I really like the G-Diapers. The problem is they don't work. The company website, as well as many blogs, feature parents like myself complaining about leakage. Interestingly, the company insists that the diapers work, and that any leakage is the result of poor alignment of the disposable sponge - i.e. my fault as a user. Rubbish, the insert just don't fit. I'm more than happy to spend 1-2 minutes trying to get the insert aligned right, but the insert and diaper are not meant to be aligned - some battles are not worth fighting.
The 7th Generation diapers work like any other diaper, and they do work, which gives them an interesting added advantage. The problem here is that the diapers' absorption is not as convincing as that of Huggies and Pampers - however, they are environmentally friendly and they feature no commercial logos. I give them an solid 8, and they are what we're using

We use 7th Gen as well. They have nice cleaning products as well
