החיתול השני נקרא ג'י - מלשון גרין - ועובר על פרינציפ אחר לחלוטין. הקטע כאן הוא חיתול מבד שמכיל ספוגית חד פעמית מתכלה. בעיקרון, מחליפים את הספוגית ולא את החיתול. בגלל שהספוגית מתכלה, אפשר להפטר ממנה דרך האסלה - יעני פשוט להוריד את המים.

The first are Seventh Generation diapers, which do not contain chlorine. The schtick here is that the production process is less pollutant, as it does not release carcinogenics into the air.

The second are G-Diapers (G for green), which are cloth diapers with a biodegradable and disposable (flushable) insert. So here, instead of changing the diaper, you change the insert.

Interesting options. I think I told you my sister in law uses a company in Kingston, NY that delivers cloth diapers every week and takes away the dirty ones. The liners are cloth but there is a washable plastic outer part too. She really likes the service and I think is going to continue using it for the next one (due in November)
